On the day after the $2,000 Pick Your Prize Handicapping Challenge, Monmouth Park held a $300 NHC qualifier on Sunday, June 2 and Samantha Reidy of Lincroft, NJ, finished in the top spot with a total of $1,400.95.

Reidy bested a field that included 123 entries. She turned her starting $150 bankroll into the winning total by betting races from Monmouth, Churchill and Gulfstream.  Contest players could only bet win, place and/or show and needed to bet a minimum of $15 per race.

By finishing first, Reidy takes home the first-place cash prize of $6,725 and is headed to Las Vegas for the National Horseplayers Championship along with runner-up Paul Kirnos.
