Monmouth Park’s $300 Last Chance NHC Qualifier was held on Saturday, January 2 and Bill Rendino of Bronx, NY finished in the top spot.

Rendino bested a field that included 120 entries. He turned his starting $150 bankroll into $871.95 by betting races from Aqueduct, Gulfstream and Tampa Bay.  Contest players could only bet win, place and/or show and needed to bet a minimum of $15 per race.

Rendino and second-place finisher David Wolff are already two-time 2021 NHC qualifiers, meaning the two NHC seats from Saturday’s contest go to third-place finisher Bill Cox and fourth-place finisher David Peed.  Rendino and Wolff take home an additional $2,500 apiece as double qualifiers.
