Isenberg Storms to Lead in First-Ever Haskell Day Handicapping Contest

Monmouth Park held its first-ever Haskell Day $1,000 NHC/BCBC qualifier on Saturday, July 17 and Derek Isenberg of Haddon Heights, NJ finished in the top spot.
Isenberg bested a field that included 154 entries. He turned his starting $500 bankroll into $5,735 by win, place, show and/or exacta wagering on Monmouth Park races only. Contest players needed to bet a minimum of $25 per race and a minimum of 10 races.
By finishing first, Isenberg takes home the first-place cash prize of $16,650 as well as a seat to the 2022 NHC. Second through fourth place finishers Brooks Minkoff, Lou Filoso and Chris Larmey will be heading to the 2021 BCBC. Fifth-place finisher Paul Scott will join Isenberg at the NHC.
