A free Miller Lite Grandstand pass giveaway on Saturday and a Classic Car Show and Oldies Day on Sunday will complement a weekend of live racing at Monmouth Park that is headlined by two Jersey-bred stakes races.

The Miller Lite Grandstand pass, good for admission from July 7 to Sept. 2, will be given to all paid admissions on Saturday. The $75,000 Irish War Cry Stakes at a mile on the turf will be the feature race on the live card.

More than 100 classic cars will be on display Sunday in the Festival Area as part of the Classic Car Show and Oldies Day that will include live music from the Cameos. Big Joe Henry will broadcast his “New Jersey’s Favorite Hits Show” on N.J. 101.5 FM that day as well.

Sunday is also free Family Fun Day, featuring clowns, face painters, pony rides and a bounce house for children 12 and under.

The Sunday feature race is the $75,000 Jersey Girl Handicap at a mile on the turf.

The popular Dawn Patrol is currently underway on Saturdays and Sundays as well (with the exception of July 20 and 21), with free tours of the backstretch and the racetrack available by reservation at 732-571-5542.
