The first bundled stakes program of the meeting, featuring a pair of graded stakes races, and the popular Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival highlight a bustling three-day Memorial Day weekend of live racing and entertainment at Monmouth Park Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 26 through May 28. 

Four stakes races will be offered on the Saturday, May 26, racing card, topped by the Grade 2 Monmouth Stakes and the Grade 3 Salvator Mile. The Boiling Springs Stakes and the John J. Reilly Stakes round out the new bundled stakes approach racing secretary John F. Heims is trying this meeting. 

The $200,000 Monmouth Stakes is at a mile and an eighth on the grass for 3 year-olds and up. The $100,000 Salvator Mile is also for 3 year-olds and up. 

The Boiling Springs, at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf, carries a $75,000 purse. The six-furlong John J. Reilly goes for $60,000. 

Those four stakes races will also be part of special pick 5 that day offering a $150,000 guarantee if there is a single winner. 

The three-day Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival features 45 food trucks catering to almost every culinary taste. Gates will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate food enthusiasts. On Monday, Memorial Day, gates will open at 11:30. 

Live music will be featured throughout the three days as well, with country artist Lauren Davidson on the main stage and Jay and Rob Duo on the second stage on Saturday. On Sunday, Pez Head takes the main stage with country artist Jessica Rose on the second stage. Monday will see the Mike Dalton Band performing. 

Saturday and Sunday will also be Family Fun Days, with pony rides, face painting, clowns and a bounce house free to children 12 and under.
