A Jersey Shore Pick 6 carryover of $30,477 will await bettors for Monmouth Park’s opening day card on Saturday, with the 20-cent jackpot wager covering races five through 10 on the 10-race card.

The carryover resulted from the final day of the Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet last October being canceled due to the weather.

Saturday’s giveaway will be a racing magnet calendar, which will be given out to the first 3,000 paid admissions.

In addition, opening day will feature a $300 handicapping contest, with the top four finishers earning their choice of a seat in the 2025 NTRA National Horseplayers Championship or the 2024 Pick Your Prize Handicapping Challenge.

Of the $300 buy-in there is a $150 non-refundable entry fee with a $150 tournament bankroll. Contestants must wager on a minimum of 10 races (there is no maximum) and a minimum of five Monmouth Park races. The wagering format is win, place and show only.

Registration is on the first floor of the Clubhouse, with walk-up registration from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Players will be able to wager on any self-service machine.

First race post time is 12:50 p.m.
