OCEANPORT, N.J. – No one picked all five winners in Monmouth Park’s late Pick 5 on Saturday, creating a carryover of $15,235.23 for Sunday’s early Pick 5, which is on races one through five.

The Pick 5, which is offered twice daily at Monmouth, is a 50-cent wager with a takeout rate of just 15 percent.

On Friday, the late Pick 5 races were won by Hersisterisachub ($19), Our Independence ($7), Feistyloulabelle ($20.60), Spring About ($32.40) and Dangerous Woman ($8.20).

The consolation payout for four of five winners Saturday was $441.60.

In addition, a carryover of $2,466.04 awaits players in the Jersey Shore Six, which consists of the final six races on the day’s program.

Gates open at Monmouth on Sunday at 11:30 a.m., with first post set for 12:50 p.m. Sunday’s card marks the 15th annual New Jersey Thoroughbred Festival and features a cooler bag giveaway to all paid admissions, while supply lasts.
