Monmouth Park’s $800 Monmouth/Saratoga Handicapping Challenge on Saturday, August 24 was won by Ryan Petrunyak.

Petrunyak’s $4,900.40 bankroll was best of 236 total entries and landed Petrunyak a first prize of a Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge seat and $15,792.

In total, Saturday’s contest awarded four BCBC seats, four seats to the National Horseplayers Championship and $37,600 in cash.

Contest players could participate online using TVG/4NJBETS, Xpressbet and on-site at Monmouth Park. All players needed to wager a minimum of $400 on five Monmouth Park races. All Saratoga races were available as optional plays. Available wagering pools were win, place, show, exacta and daily double.
