The biggest event on Monmouth Park’s handicapping contest calendar is set for Saturday, June 3, when the $2,000 Pick Your Prize Handicapping Challenge is expected to offer a minimum of 18 NHC seats, four BCBC seats and $65,000 in cash (based on 200 entries, with prize awards adjusted accordingly).

Players will be able to participate on site at Monmouth Park or on line (via TVG, 4NJBets, Xpressbet or HPI).

With 290 entries in 2022, the prize board awarded a record 25 NHC seats, seven BCBC seats and cash.

The $2,000 contest is divided into a $1,000 bankroll and a $1,000 entry fee.

Wagering is limited to Monmouth Park races and contestants must bet a minimum of $200 in at least five races. The betting format includes win, place, show, exacta and daily double wagering.

In addition, Monmouth Park is offering a $300 NHC qualifier on Sunday, June 4, offering two NHC seats and cash. That contest is on site only.

For the $2,000 Pick Your Prize contest players must be pre-registered. For TVG/4NJBETS participants that can be done by emailing Brian Skirka at bskirka@monmouthpark.com or by calling 732-671-6595 by 3 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, June 2.

HPI players need to register with Klaus Ebner at kebner@woodbine.com by noon Eastern on Friday.

Xpressbet players can sign up directly on Xpressbet through 12:40 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday.
