The all new Favorites at Woodbridge Handicapping Challenge Series had another successful contest on Sunday, April 6 with just under 100 players taking part. The new five-part series provides handicapping enthusiasts with the chance at earning a seat in the 2015 Horse Player World Series in Las Vegas. The Top 20 players from each contest will be invited to return to Favorites at Woodbridge to compete in the year-end Invitational on December 6, 2014.

For the second of the five contests, players wagered on full cards from Aqueduct, Keeneland, and Tampa Bay Downs with a $50 bankroll. Each player was required to wager on a minimum of 10 races at a minimum $5 per race and only on a Win, Place, or Show wager (or any combination of the three.) Players could only wager on one horse per race.

Taking home top prize for the second leg of the series was Chris DePalma who bested 98 other players by nearly $150. DePalma along with the following 19 players will advance to the Favorites at Woodbridge Invitational in December.
