Due to heavy rains that hit northern New Jersey overnight and are expected to continue through early afternoon, the Meadowlands Racetrack has cancelled live Thoroughbred racing for Friday, Nov. 1.

The Meadowlands will remain open for simulcasting, including the full-card from Santa Anita and Day One of the Breeders’ Cup races.  Gates open at the Big M at 11 a.m.

Live racing will return to the Meadowlands on Saturday, Nov. 2 – the final day of the all-turf Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet.  The Jersey Six, which has a carryover of $2,638.07, will be mandatorily paid out to winning tickets that select the most winners on the card.
