OCEANPORT, N.J. – Klaravich Stables and W. H. Lawrence’s Quick Flip held off a late charge by Caviar N Champagne to capture the $45,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Sunday afternoon by 2 ½ lengths.

Trained by Terri Pompay and ridden by Pedro Cotto Jr., Quick Flip covered the six furlongs over a fast main track in 1:11 4/5 and returned $16.60, $6.40 and $3.40 in the field of seven 2-year-old fillies.  Caviar N Champagne completed the $70.80 exacta and paid $6.20 and $4.60.  It was almost a length back to Seaside Magic, who returned $8.80 to show.

Quick Flip, a daughter of Speightstown from the Bates Motel mare Motel Lass, earned her second victory in as many starts by taking the Sunday feature.

Live racing continues at Monmouth Park on Friday, October 28 – gates open 11:30 a.m., first post 12:50 p.m.  All patrons on Friday will receive free Grandstand or Clubhouse admission.

As always, Monmouth Park is open seven days a week for simulcast racing from across the country and around the globe.
