High Point Thoroughbred Partners’ Crazy About Me dueled with Magic Mesa and Do Somethin early before spurting clear of those rivals and all the rest in the stretch to post a 5 ½ length win in the $40,000 allowance/optional claiming feature at Monmouth Park on Saturday before a crowd of 9,453. 

          Trained by Jorge Navarro and ridden by Pedro Cotto Jr., Crazy About Me returned $2.40, $2.10 and $2.10 as the odds-on choice in the field of five fillies and mares.  Magic Mesa completed the $27.40 exacta and paid $9.40 and $4.20.  It was another length and a half back to Do Somethin, who paid $2.20 to show. 

          A 3-year-old daughter of Lawyer Ron from the A. P. Indy mare Ms. Blue Blood, Crazy About Me has won her last five starts dating back to May 31 at Churchill Downs.
