Joe Perry Captures July 22 NHC Qualifier

Monmouth Park’s third handicapping contest of the live season was held Saturday, June 22 and the winner was Joe Perry of Hamilton, NJ.
Perry bested a field that included 165 entries. He turned his starting $150 bankroll into $2,462.90 by betting races from Monmouth Park and Saratoga only.Contest players could only bet win, place and/or show and needed to bet a minimum of $15 per race.
By finishing first, Perry takes home the first place cash prize of $4,917. In addition, he qualifies for the 2018 NHC in Las Vegas (as does runner-up Rich Feldman).
